I think this Julie-Anne needs to get out, smell the coffee and perhaps meet some real people.

I love her hint : "Don’t upset the apple cart by telling him what you’re actually thinking, or he might leave you." - so does this imply act dumb ??

People just need to talk, listen and talk some more.

My mrs can rant about a shit day for 45mins solid and I'll say nothing. I don't need to, I just need to listen and agree. Later on I can suggest shit, because she's calmer and will listen.

I just don't get why everyone isn't more like me. The world would be ****ing fantastic.

Unfortunately, nearly everyone else says the same (more like themselves, not more like you, obviously). Except for Michael Jackson, he got it right.
