Melbourne GP - Lewis on pole

...just to give MM another excuse to post a gratuitous picture.

Perhaps Etihad would have been better advised to sponsor McLaren???

LOL - well, if he can't take this one with his two main rivals at the back of the grid, you may have a point... But at the moment, unless there are reliability issues, I'd predict a McLaren 1-2...

The greatest indignity would be for Force India to finish ahead of him...

McLaren do a 1-2 almost every season start...It's tradition,like St. Patrick's day...

Will be interested to see how Kubica handles being on the front row - the boy is quick and this could cause problems for BMW if it puts Heidfeld in a Frenando kinda mood :D

Q3 is a bit of a joke and will need to be ovehauled before someone gets rear ended

Looks really like it could be really competitive this year but as Hamilton will have a 10 point start on Kimi...

Let's not count any chickens - first race of the season often brings out reliability probs that don't show up on testing circuits...

Be interesting to see how the traction control ban works out - esp in Q3. Could see a lot of sliding into the gravel...

The designers have just made the cars more benign much less point and shoot! Seems to work fine in the dry the Macca drives beautifly, Ferrari bit more of a handful but in the wet Wayhay!!!!!!!.

Q3 has happened, grid is set
