Re: Meet up
I had a hump night last night. Feel really refreshed today :D
AFAIK, hump means a bit of the old jiggajigga in most contexts. Equally, a casting couch is something an aspiring actress had to submit herself on were she to stand a chance of progressing. Radio 2--amongst the illiterate babble--has a "Hump Tuesday" and "The Casting Couch". Methinks there's someone behind all this with a devious sense of humour; at least he makes up for the wuckfit presenters who probably have no bleedin' clue about anything they're saying out loud. (There are numerous examples, but last week it was announced that there was a traffic accident in AD "between roads 30 and 13". How does anything happen between roads which run perpendicular to each other?) Not far off Sarah 'king Kennedy level. |
Re: Meet up
That reminds me of a taxi I was in a few days ago, going around the one-way system at JLT. Every time the taxi driver went over a speed hump, he'd shake his head and say, "too much humping".
