Re: Medal winning bomber
There's not exactly a lack of precedence for world celebration of a former-leader of a terrorist organisation...

Re: Medal winning bomber
He has a disability as a result of his hunger strike in jail resulting in him losing the use of his legs. He was in jail having been convicted of bombings and murder. He lied about how he got his disability at the last paralympics but was let off as the Committee decided he 'had not broken any rules' (just lied).
Doesn't seem quite in the spirit of the games to me, although I'm sure others will think as it's all in the past, he's been pardoned etc. he should have the right to participate.
Not sure if the family of the guy murdered or anyone hurt in the bombings will agree though.
