...in more startling news, the Daily Shite informs us that "milk can be added to porridge, cereals, tea, coffee". Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs...

That was quite an interesting and informative article until it got to milk which has virtually zero benefits that cannot be obtained from other sources.......

As always though, no thought to mention alternatives for those who suffer from allergies to nuts (almonds are a potential killer for my son). I seem to have an aversion to oats, I've noticed too.

Anyway, not bad by DM standards.

[Edit: Nice to know that Jerry Hall is in the Over-40 Club - she's 56.....]

Very informative. The only problem I see is how an over 40 is able to source the cheeries to eat on a regular basis...

Cherries and almonds are a no way for me as allergic to both. Like The Dean said they could have taken the time to mention substitute products..

Quite amusing that you have to eat fish at least 4 times a week for it to have the desired effect although you could just get some Omega 3 capsules and you're good to go.

What about broccoli, blueberries and all the other foods the press were touting as wonder foods only a short while ago? Acacia berries and other odd things.

On a side note, quite literally, I skimmed through the side bar on the site and really have no idea who 50% of these 'celebs' are. Seems like a good thing.

That's typical DM for you: half-truths. Whole milk is, quite possibly, better for you than low fat or skimmed, but they don't bother to discuss that. Other deeply-coloured fruit and veg probably have similar anti-oxidant properties to those of cherries, but no mention. Typical lazy, dumbed-down shite.

Typical DM is saying something is good for you having previously told us it can give you cancer...

Why Include Jerry Hall in the 40's club, Surely she is closer to 60? Was it the only other picture they could find?
