Massacre reported in Wales

Despite only playing for 30 minutes, just too good for Northampton. Great game though!

Nothing compared to the 77th minute winning conversion that Nick Evans of the mighty Harlequins produced.

Just Wasps, Munster and Stade Francais swept aside to win that title. 8 or 9 players under 25 in the final too.

 the Challenge Cup? well good luck to them, I suppose having an Irish director of rugby is helping them.

Still I wouldn't be bragging much about essentially the second tier competition.

You must have missed the bit about Wasps, Munster and Stade.

Second tier?

Amlin has been a brilliant tournament this season, aside from the Quins I've enjoyed it more than the Heineken.

Second tier as in you qualify for it when you don't finish high enough in your own league or if you get knocked out of the Heineken cup as a highest points loser in the pool stages.
by definition second tier. It doesn't mean the games aren't good but ask yourself which do you think any team wants to win most, or if you really think they put their heart into it after being knocked out of the other competition.

Sorry, I understand what second tier means, I put the line break in to emphasise the question of whether Wasps, Munster and Stade are second tier teams...be interesting to see come the final you've got against Munster (if my memory is correct?)

I'd rather win the Heineken cup, but it's unlikely unless you are Toulon/lous which i always get the wrong way round, Leicester, Leinster or Munster.

Sad day for the Saints.
They gassed due to a long season with a shallow squad and the inability to rest key players.
