Re: Married or not
Did you report it on your taxes?
I have to admit that there's a part of me slightly worried in that I'm spending quite a lot on something that isn't purely diamonds or sapphires or emeralds. The designer, however, is a well-known name and the store is also a well-known name so while it's probably overpriced there's security in knowing that and not from a stall in a random hippie market.
Though there is never a really a good reason to visit Yemen, the place is awash with semi precious stones and antique silver. One my last trip home I brought back a kilo of the stones that I got for $1,000 dollars. I sold them to a friend's wife who has one of those bohemian type jewellery stores in a market for about $30 per stone, for a total of $6,000.
While ostensibly this is a bragging post, it also contains some helpful jewellery shopping in Yemen advice.

Don't get me wrong though, the stones were actually very good and looked good also, which should be the primary requirement I think regardless of where you get it from.

Anyone with olive tones. For example I suit yellow gold far better than white gold/silver/platinum. I see many women wearing white/silver when yellow tones would suit them better.
Of course you should wear what you like, but some colours suit certain people better than others.

I'm a yellow gold suiter, so I mix it with white gold/ platinum.
Prefer a pale yellow gold.
