Man with a van
 

Hi guys

Just bought a cabin bed and dining table and chairs from dubizzle and need to pick them up and get them to my place - anyone have a contact for a reliable man with a pickup/van...? Sure there are plenty but do love a recommendation...

They do all the private deliveries for IKEA. Not the cheapest but good and reliable.

Or you can go to Al Quoz where you'll find a street full of vans & drivers and employ one of them for an hour or so.

agree a good price beforehand- I have all the negotiating skills of a badger so ended up paying right over the odds- seems a blonde girl just seems like too easy a target!

Thanks kittycat and Miaow! Managed to find a couple of OK guys via dubizzle - usual Dubai timing but they were very careful with my stuff and were reasonably cheap....
