Default Looong weekend plans?

Having been back from our 10 day holiday now for 2 weeks another (mini) holiday is well needed. We're heading to The Cove @ RAK tomorrow for some serious relaxation & general indulgence for 2 nights.....soooo looking forward to it!

What plans do you lovely lot have to fill the long weekend? Anything exciting, or not so exciting or just plain dull? Do share, I'm genuinely interested to know

Nice. Everyone likes a street party. I've just leaving Cairo after missing a big fight at the city-stars mall. I'm a bit disappointed.

The atmosphere here is strange. At certain times lights in houses start flashing and pots start banging. Then tear gas wafts onto my hotels rooftop bar.

I work for a big American company, a lot of people have been leaving work and going to Taksim every night this week.

I don't think this will be the end of it.

Of course it isn't. As soon as the PM said it wasn't the Turkish Spring we all knew it was.

If this finally pops the turkish construction bubble then they will be ****ed.

Not even that. The PM insulted Ataturk, middle classes very unhappy...huge protest at Kanyon because Starbucks shut up shop during protests. Military giving protestors gas masks. Generals still in jail without trial. News channels apologizing for not reporting events over the past week. 3G blocked in Taksim so houses/apartments/hotels/bars/shops/restaurants opened gave unsecured wireless access. The list goes on.

Nope - friend of mine is a doctor out there, treating injured. Police just teargassed the A&E dept!

Reminds me of Bahrain!

Do you enjoy being groped by random Egyptian men? If so you'll love it.

I will be sipping a nice cold beer in Ireland by 7pm Friday night however my connection is through Istanbul, those mother-****ers better not upset my flight plans.

Pretty insane nightclub called After Eight right next to Tahrir, still open and worth calling into seeing as you are in the area.
