The Loch Ness Monster ?

So does he exist or not ?

The local community thrive on the legend and if it was ever totally disproved then town would die on its arse, so of course all the local people will have claimed to have seen it to keep the mystery alive....

Younger brother to the flying Spaghetti Monster? :)

It's total tripe IMO. Do they need to empty the lake to prove it?

I disagree...I'm a hydrobiologist/marine biologist and I can definitely say, without any bias, that Nessie exists ! In my spare time, I'm also a member of the board for Highlands and Islands tourism and have visited the loch ! :)

Have you been up there?

I assure you the town would not die if the legend was busted. It's absolu beautiful and thousands of Americans visit it not just for the basalisk(;))but for the surrounding countryside, history and castles such as Urquhart.
