Default Loan advice sought (damned 1 rental cheque)

So it seems I am struggling to find to negotiate with our future landlord over his strict policy of 1 cheque for the compound villa.

We missed one of his villas a few weeks ago dues to delaying while we negotiated 2 cheques and someone else snapped it up.

Can anyone recommend a the best (least worst) way to a short term loan for grabbing this place with 1 cheque.

btw, yes I have asked my employer and they are a firm "No advance of wages or loans dues to being burned before"

I am considering HSBC because of my soon to be finished car loan and banking is with them, but any others?

Bad idea mate
Let the villa go, find another place with easier payment options

Why do you say its a bad idea? Just the general 'in debt in dubai' ?

I agree, but figure its not the whole 12 months I am borrowing and will also get a refund from my existing lease when I move out. So its not a nut crunching loan

Just ask your bank for a personal loan. As long as your salary is paid into that account it shouldn't be a problem.

My missus works for ADCB, I can ask her if you like but personally I'd look for another landlord - there is no way we'd pay rent a year in advance to anyone. Two to four cheques is much more reasonable.
