Default little "things" in the sugar..

I found lots of tiny things running round in the sugar..what are they?
They are tiny.Like specs of dust..that crawl.
Luckily I dont take sugar, but SF nearly got a gobful in his tea.

It's always a pleasure to hear from one of the worlds foremost experts on sugar mites . When can we expect a public lecture?

they sound like ghost ants - get a pest company in to spray your garden and you will find they disappear very quickly. get them to use the gel in the kitchen cupboards as a few of them may hang around for some of your sugar!

Is Gucci a cat or a dog?
They can spray around the windows and doors of your place and that will do the trick.

You might want to get rid off all the dried rice, pasta types as well as dried beans (if you have any). Basically anything not sealed.

Sounds like you have weevils, common in hot climates. As Dutchie says, get rid of anything that is open and store things in the fridge or freezer or in completely air tight containers.
