A Line from a song or a poem
Is there a line from a song or a poem that you either: consider to be a fundamental truth, or that you find particularly evocative of some period in your life, or that you like simply because it entertains you?
Truth: ‘and if you tolerate this, then your children will be next’. Evoke: ‘it’s a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford slowin’ down to take a look at me’ Part two of the exercise is to guess each other’s song/s or poem/s. |

A peculiar little Scotsman said this which I happen to believe is the truth: 'If you have it [Love] you don't need to have anything else, and if you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have'. Evoke Doesn't get better than this.... And Ill dance with you in Vienna Ill be wearing a rivers disguise. The hyacinth wild on my shoulder,my mouth on the dew of your thighs |
