Today, as every year i shall be remembering all fallen hero's, especially:

Lieutenant Philip Green
Lieutenant Antony King
Lieutenant Marc Lawrence
Lieutenant Philip West
Lieutenant James Williams
Lieutenant Andrew Wilson

But most of all, my grandad..only a boy. My dad would have loved to have known you.

Remembrance Sunday service today in Abu Dhabi, 6pm, St Andrews Church. Was very full last year so arrive early.

Didn't plan far enough ahead to bring a poppy with me, and don't know where to get one here. I also knew that a minute's silence just wasn't going to happen at work, so I took myself outside and sat by the water for a moment of reflection.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
we will remember them.
