Left Auh and didn't cancel visa 1991
 

Sorry, have searched and can't find the answer. Have friends who left Auh in 1991 without cancelling their visas (a couple). I don't remember the reasons why, but have asked them to spell it out. Meantime, is it likely after 20 odd years that their passports will be taken when the arrive at Dxb immigration, coming in for a week's holiday? Or is there a way to find out if their names are on some silly ''didn't cancel'' sheet. No debts, for sure. Can't quite remember if his company shut down or why they left, but will find out in few days.

Have combed through various search threads and can't find answer for someone who left so many years ago, so if anyone has answers I'd be grateful...

they are probably on their second or third passport since the incident. It'll be fine...
