I think that too many sarcastic and downright unpleasant posts have sent people to other forums. I wouldn't say they were in any way exclusive, quite the opposite, but they aren't so snotty. I believe that's also the reason many regular posters have left as I speak to a few from time to time.
Wit and sarcasm has its place but perhaps being a tiny bit nicer might be helpful. I am not advocating fluffy, heaven forfend, but the outright spite is unnecessary. That's the reason I didn't post for a few months as I just couldn't be bothered with it.

I agree there were a few religious battles that went way too far and some newbies got a bit more than they bargained for, but I also think people started getting a bit sensitive. Of course when you receive regular offensive pm's that sucks, but I can't remember anyone who didn't give as good as they got....
