That was $500, cash in wallet. 3 trips to ATM at $1000 a pop and it was 7am closely followed by bed as we needed to leave hotel by 0830 for flight............

I cannot begin to describe how awful I feel right about now, On the plus side for $200 I upgraded LV to Phili.........

Just booked a week in Vegas with my UK pals over Easter

Well 3 days in Las Vegas and 3 in San Fran.

Ah............. San Francisco, my favourite American city, and one of the most beautiful cities on the planet........... ignore Las Vegas, just do a week there - you will regret 'not having more time' to spend there. Mark my words.

I know, I know. Had to convince my travelling partners that a week in Vegas was probably too much. We're off to see some baseball in San Fran too.

Lots of travelling to get there but it works that I can watch the Albion (v Charlton) and pop in to see the folks in transit between Heathrow and Gatwick. Leave States on 9th get back into DXB on 11th!!

By the way - if you are planning to drive between LV and SF, it's much further than you might think - I'd give it twelve hours.
