Carrefour's business model is to have loss leaders at the entrance - laptops, DVDs, cameras, etc - sell these at loss or at least cheaper than competition.

'cos this brings footfall that will then go buy own branded tat at a huge mark up in clothing, food etc areas...

In all my years here and even elsewhere I've never dealt with a more crappy company than C4 - scum.
