Lapdancing Students

How would you feel if your found out that your undergraduate daughter studying at Oxford University pays for her tuition fees by lapdancing? Personally, I would not be too worried so long as my daughter was strong enough mentally not to be tempted to go further. How about you?

I would be a whole lot more worried if it was my son.

In Oz there's loads of birds, a lot catholic Irish girls who work in topless bars as they think no-one will ever know.

Spearmint Rhino v HMRC

This makes excellent reading, especially this bit:

However, of more interest to his Lordship were the activities which related to “more direct engagement between the women and the customer as ... the women can be engaged to perform private dances for the customer.”

One of my mates at college did this whilst I worked nights in burgerking, a bar and at Tescos. I was juggling 3 jobs trying to get as many shifts as possible whilst she worked one and earned substantially more than I did all week (and she had little baps)- If I'd had a bit more self confidence I would have done it myself! I think you have to be a certain person (100% confident and don't think about things too much)to do this line of work and not let it effect you but you do whatever you have to do- as long as it doesn't effect your relationships and opinions of men why not?

Having said that I don't think my Dad would be too happy about it!

I'm sure it may sound like a bit of fun at first but I bet after while it's really sleazya nd you really hate it.

I know a lass who was a lap dancer and she had fun but works in a bar now as she said she just hated it, despite earning loads of cash.

Friend of mine did this, paid her way through Uni without any assistance...but instead of stopping after uni and getting a 'proper job' with her degree, she just carried on.

Lifestyle was too good and money too much to turn down.

I would feel like a failure for not saving enough money over the years to fund her education so she doesn't need to take her clothes off just to get through University.

I'd also feel like a failure as a father for raising a child who feels that's even an option for a woman in my family.

But I wouldn't go ape or get all puritanical - I'd try to help her find a more respectable job.

Nothing wrong with this in my opinion, nudity isn't something to be ashamed of I feel.
In fact its more exploitation of us idiot men who confuse a seeing a naked woman who is paid to smile and be nice to us with someone who genuinely likes us.

We are the victims here
