The Lakes rental prices
 
I have a tenancy agreement sitting on my desk for a Type 3 villa in The Lakes, at AED 230k in one cheque. Is that the going rate?

I don't know if Lakes has a few hidden tiers within the subdivision –– but AED 230K seems high... compared to the below.

EMIRATES LIVING, THE LAKES, ZULA, 3 BR - AED 91,980 p.a.

THE LAKES, GHADEER 2 - TYPE 3 END, 3 BR - AED 140K

VILLA IN LUXURIOUS COMMUNITY OF ZULAL, THE LAKES - AED 140,000 p.a.

I guess if you pay that, that's the going rate from that moment on...!
