KSA prince kills over 2000 endangered species of bird on hunting trip.
Such wanton destruction is mindboggling. Ofcourse he could claim he didn't know but someone must have told him.
" A Saudi prince reportedly hunted and killed about 2,000 houbara bustards -- birds that are considered to be on the brink of extinction -- during a safari in Pakistan earlier this year. " http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/0...n_5187319.html http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...psa98433fe.jpg Blame lies equally with the Pakistanis and the Al Saud Prince. |

I would say that he definitely knows, but could not give a shite!!!!
UAE is actually at the forefront on conservation of these birds, but I would suspect that given 2 of the 3 areas (Morocco and Kazakhstan ), that our noble leaders here definitely indulge in exactly the same http://www.thenational.ae/news/uae-n...oubaras-in-uae http://www.houbarafund.org/en/contents/resources |

It says everything about the mentality of some of these people when it comes to wildlife.
Killing a few birds for fun (unless they are eaten) is horrific, what sort of person gets pleasure from that? But 2000? |
Protected Bird Annihilation by Saudi Prince
Bloody disgraceful behaviour. He needs to make a public apology at the very least...

Thinking about it, what really do we expect, and honestly are any of us shocked.
It`s about as bad as, I know I fancy having a Lion or Cheetah cub 2 months later, I `ve stopped it chewing and pawing me as I had it de-clawed and its teeth ripped out.....and here they signed up to CITES.. |
Re: KSA prince kills over 2000 endangered species of bird on hunting trip.
But does he get his listing in the Guinness Book of Records?

Our own dear ruling classes did much the same until two generations ago. Ever seen those photos of big game hunting in Colonial Africa ? Or grouse and deer in the Highlands ?

Re: KSA prince kills over 2000 endangered species of bird on hunting trip.
Why did the Pakistanis let him do it?
