I keep driving past that and it seemed to have finally opened a couple of weeks ago. Do you know what they sell? I couldn't find anything online when I last looked.

Thanks. That's a shame. You wouldn't think it was a hard thing to get right really.

Do you mean griddles? The batter at The Plaice is good enough and they only charge Dhs31 for fish and chips, but they also take 30 minutes even if you eat in. Still the al fresco ambience is nice.

Pizza and low-fat should never be in the same sentence.

The kebab shop in DG has been open for the best part of a year now, it's run by a British guy with a full-on Islamic beard and a broad Brummie accent The kebabs in naan bread are def better than the ones in Arabic bread. be careful if you order their special sauce, it's as spicy as f**k. We love spicy but it was on the border of being too much.
not so keen on their chips though, prefer the ones from the Fish & Chip Room because they're more like proper chip shop chips. The kebab place is MUCH better value than F&CR though.

Special sauce? Are you kidding? It's lovely! I found it about a month ago. About time, I crave Doners when I go home to the point that I stopped at one straight off the plane last time I was home!
