Just name the place and state the location. You don't own it, work there or have any links to the business so it's fine to do so.

The Kebab Shop (original eh?), Disco Gardens, next to the shops.

Good value, nice staff, great food, BRILLIANT chips.

I have great difficulty finding BRILLIANT chips anywhere in Dubai. Mind you "The Plaice" next to Irish Village comes pretty close...and their haddock-shaped plaice is delicious too! I think you get hamour, cod or haddock whatever you order.

Well get yourself along and check it out fella, the whole lot cost me 30 ding dongs as well, so even you wouldn't mind paying that.

On the subject of chips, has anyone tried the Rock & Sole Place at the Safa Centre (by Park N Shop)?

Is it a proper chippie? Any good? (All this talk of chips is giving me cravings!)

Thanks

All the Arabic places sell kebabs. Mallahs sells pretty tasty kebabs. Pars Iranian sells kebabs. Ravis sells Pakistani kebabs.

How can you not had kebabs in this town? It's grilled meat, either chucks of meat or minced meat, that's inserted into skewers and grilled over hot flames. The servers slide the meat off the skewers onto the plates before serving you.

Are you sure you've never had kebabs?
