Just back from a week in Dubai
 

We arrived home last night aftar a week in Dubai. We had an excellent time and it has confirmed to my wife and I, that Dubai is the place for us. All I need to do now is land myself a job.

I was hoping for the week to be a chance to get my CV onto a few desks, but that never really happened and it ended up being much more of an opportunity for my wife and daughter to confirm they really do want to make the move.

We never got to see all the places we wanted to, but we got to a fair few places and learnt so much about Dubai by just being there, it was well worth the money.

I must confess it made me envious of all you people who are already out there and there were three very long faces on the plane back to the UK yesterday, but fingers crossed, we will be on a plane back to Dubai sometime very soon, this time for good.

Sad but true. At least this poster was sensible enough to come over & check things out.
