Jungle trekking gear in DXB
I'm off to Singapore/Malaysia for two weeks beginning this Friday. Can't wait. The food (as some of you alluded to in Singapore)! Asian gals! Tropical resorts!
Unfortunately in between the food and the beaches is a trekking trip through Gunung Mulu park. Think jungles. Think mosquitoes. Think leeches. Think rain. I've been strongly advised to bring out a pair of leech stocks and lightweight waterproof gear. Most of the waterproof stuff is still buried in a box in the UK so where's the best place in DXB to get raincoats? I don't want to spend a fortune but is there an outdoor/trekking supply store around this town? Any help is much appreciated. Cheers |

er, surely at a guess it will be cheaper if you just wait and buy them there? anything like that here is bound to be pricey
