Hi

I've just got a nursing job in Jeddah at King Faisal Hospital and am hoping to move over in August. They said that i will probably be housed at al-almoudi compound. Can i just have a bit of info about Jeddah, about living in the middle east and whether it really is as bad as ive read. Do you have a social life over there? Also ive heard mixed opinions about clothing, some people say i just have to wear an abaya but some people say i have to cover my head too????

Yes to the abaya. No you don't have to cover your hair at present but these things do change. Jeddah is more liberal than Riyadh.
