Jane McGrath
Jane McGrath, the English wife of Aussie cricketer Glenn McGrath, finally succumbed to breast cancer yesterday. She was 42.
She had been very ill several years ago (breast cancer 1997, bone marrow cancer 2003), then appeared to have recovered, but was diagnosed again in 2006, and deteriorated badly within the last week or two.
Do a "Google" for her cancer foundation - an organisation doing some very fine work in that field.
RIP.

My MIL is in remission too... it delayed us moving over here while we waited for news, last year. My thoughts to everyone else affected.

Lost my mother to breast cancer aged 43 about 19 years ago, I was in my late teens at the time but its still extremley hard coming to terms with the death of your mother at such a young age !
Terrible diesese takes a helluva lot of men & women at such young ages, my sincere sympathy goes out to Glenn & the family !

Very hard Anna, the hardest part is that she never saw any of her grandchildren, I have one of each and my brother has one of each, its hard to explain to kids why they have no grandmother..................especially when their grandfather doesn't give a toss ! :curse:
