It's a second gold medal for GB.........
...... the boy Phillips Idowu done good.......... a 17.73m triple jump, the best in the world this year...... but Jessica's avatar can stay for a little while longer yet..........

Idowu's gold medal is the first at the World Championships by a British male since Jonathan Edwards' success in 2001 in Edmonton. It's also the first time since 1993 that Britain has won more than one gold medal at the championships (Linford Christie won the men's 100m while Sally Gunnell took top spot in the women's 400m hurdles in Stuttgart).
