Only the third one on the bottom row looks remotely British...and he is actually German. More likely they are East Europeans or Israelis using fake UK passports.

My thoughts exactly - I did not want to post first, as it may open up a can of thread diverting worms regarding what 'looking British' means - but in this context it is a fair observation.

All a bit odd. Why were so many needed?

All the publicity and discussion, effectively branding them guilty at this stage, will of course help their defence regarding obtaining a fair trial in the UAE.

Much more to all this than meets the eye....speaking of which, they seem to have got their glasses from the same optician.

But why 11 instead of 3?
This shows the killers' stupidity and lack of professionalism..

I mean in your elite "hit squads" like for the military and other top secret entities you usually have a very small squad. I mean like say one person for tech, another for intelligence, and maybe a marksmen...but generally speaking when you get to that level of top secret missions usually each person in the squad has some expertise in a little bit of everything so you can limit the team size to avoid detection. Look at teams like delta squad or special forces.

Dubai Police must be incredibly naive if they think that a team of international assassins would use genuine passports.

"There are still questions over whether the passports were forged or stolen. Dubai police said they are working on the premise the passports are genuine."

Too me they definitely have an Israeli look to them, especially the woman.

But they're fake passports (according to the Home Office). The team seem to be dressed up in disguises for the photos - like the guy top left has shaved his head, even though he has a full head of hair - also see weird use of glasses, beard, wigs etc. The woman's wearing a blonde wig. If they're clever, they would have used stage make-up. Using imaging software you could still easily identify them, but not casually.

According to interviews on the TV here in the UK, it was a very professional hit regardless of how many there were, never calling each other, always calling an international number (can't remember where) to communicate that way. They knew absolutely everything about his moves and the thinking is some of Hamas may have sold him out. Jordan and Egypt were also after him apparently so the plot really does thicken.
