Default Iran/Israel/Lebanon

I think that we have seen this type of thread countless times, but my feeling is that is going to escalate.

I can't see the Israelis letting them get the bomb and lose the competitive advantage.

I don't think we will leave here unless it gets really bad, I also think that the gulf states will be happy to see Iran confronted. I foresee an interesting 12 months ahead.

All hypothetical stuff, but anyone out here could be in the eye of the storm.

Discuss.

Dubai is kind of lucky. The only thing that is likely to be targeted is the sensitive stuff out towards Emirates and the Outer Ring Roads, if you catch my driff.

If they were going invade here – or even want to be able to continue trading with the outside world after the event – Dubai's infrastructure needs to stay intact.

Other parts of the Gulf probably won't be so lucky.

Forget all that - Dubai's 'significance' in terms of strategic location etc is grossly overstated - and read this which I found on the Haaretz website:

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomac...emium-1.477886

So............. Israel funds Hamas............ file that under "Things I Find Hard To Believe".

It apparently *did* fund Hamas when it was trying to destabilise Fatah. I doubt it does now though. Another example of things coming back and biting the instigator on the ass. Think the US with Al Qaeda and Pakistan with the Taliban.

I am surprised the West is building/going to build Nuclear Plants in the Gulf.It will only be a matter of time before Saudis get the bomb from Pakistan ; Saudi did fund Pakistan's nuclear program.
