Im colour blind too - i cant distinguish between most of the colours from yellow and red (??) - the rest is a blurr

I sometimes say yellow when I mean white and white when I mean yellow, but I see the difference.

I have the same problem, much to the amusement of my mates when playing poker. Not sure why I do it though - like you I can tell the difference.
