Generally though, this week:
- Senior managers who are scared, incapable or desperate not to make a decision.
- Having more work than you should with each stakeholder expecting their work to be most important and delivered first.
- Being pulled into extra projects (oracle implementation) that are way outside the norm and involve a different set of idiots and a total lack of understanding of the subject from my perspective.
- A difficult boss. I'll leave that just as it is.
- Half arsed attempts at studying outside of normal hours. Failed miserably.
All the usual shit. I think I spend a lot of time each day just managing expectations. In fact, I should get into stakeholder management or engagement or something on Expo or similar. I'd kill it.
