Default Internet Slow?

Internet in office and at home is very, very slow - anyone else experiencing this?

Expect to see something in news about another underwater cable been damaged.

Rip-roaring fast at work in AD, snail-like in my Dubai apartment (despite Du's assertions that its 8mb). Given up trying to do anything about it...

for last week our office internet (Etisalat) has been slow as a wet week.
Du at home no problems, all good.

our IT guy says Etisalat is having problems and is now routing network traffic via the USA to ensure it stays connected

If I use Internet Explorer 9, it just stops, if I use Google Chrome browser, it is all good.

All up, something is fishy

Sounds plausible. At work I done a speed check to Etisalat and came back around 3.6 M But when done one as far as Seattle was 0.35M so does seem to be an external problem!
