International Driving license
 

Hi All,

I need to get an international driving license for traveling to the US, I only have a UK license not a UAE license. Can I do this here or can you only do it with a UAE license? Any idea how I can get an international license if this is not the case?

Ok managed to speak to a representative from the car hire people and they have said a UK licence is fine. phew...

If you have a UK license, you can use that, you don't need a IDP, that's only a translation.

Driving in the US, which I presumed was where the assumption of needing a IDP was from.
