I feel bad for starting the thread now.

When I was a youngster I attended the Budweiser Arlington Million. I was wearing my Newcastle cap and a guy from Budweiser approached me with Budweiser caps in hand and offered to "trade caps" with me. I refused, then he offered me 5 American dollars for my hat, I said 10 and he agreed. He gave me a new Budweiser cap and as he walked away I saw him throw my old Newcastle cap in the nearest rubbish bin. I went over to the bin, got my old cap and threw out the new Bud hat-

But I was young and stupid and didn't respect international marketing agreements. There's no excuse for grown adults pulling a stunt like this.

Why? what is the difference between this and wearing a Nike t-shirt with a big tick on the front?

They got detained and questioned by FIFA officials (!) for several hours, with corrupt police officials standing in the hallway preventing them from leaving even though they were not under arrest. They released them only to arrest them two days later, charges: still unknown as there is no law against getting paid to wear an orange dress during a Dutch national team footbal match.

They wore an orange dress without any visible brand name for crying out loud!
