never been a fan of messy food

that doesnt sound like indochine but they have a few. they are also going to open one in Dubai.

Also not to be missed is the Peranakan cuisine - Blue Ginger is particularly good for this.....

As for all you mucky-wallahs going on about Orchard Towers.... tourist twaddle. The real dark underbelly is down in Geyalng.... don't go unless possessed by the spirit of William Burroughs...

'Tis the only place I have tried...but my dining partners have had it many times in Singapore and said it was just as good.

Well, the restaurant is called Peppercrab and it is their speciality...so should mean something for their reputation.

What I loved...the first time in my life...was getting fully bibbed up, like you used to see in some American movies when they eat spider crab ! It is messy eating, though.

My Singaporean mates always used to recommend the "No sign" crab restaurant...

I fly April 5th... on the cheap Emirates flight that stops in Sri Lanka, hmm.

Then going to Malaysia and Cambodia before my friends' wedding in Singy...
