My ex brother in law is an Area Manager for Coffee Republic, and he told me once that it took 4 weeks of training to work in one of their shops...
1 week to learn how to make the coffees, .....and 3 weeks to learn how to keep a straight face when asking some punter for 6 quid for a cup of poxy coffee and a muffin !

It's over-roasted - try the coffee from Dunkin Donuts that's better. Waitrose do some nice coffees.
