my dearest we are 'allowed' to live where we wish...We could have had almost any apartment in the City...in fact our buget could have stretched to most...


The thought of an apartment with a view of Dileeps pants or a lovely villa with a garden and 5 minutes away from work...

hmmm difficult one....

plus our internet only really took 1 week:D

We actually have a nice view of the city and a pool and something called a gym...:unsure:

we didnt see our apartment till we moved in as we just had to get somewhere quick but its very swish....much bigger than our old villa.
the prices here have gone up loads someone i know in letting told me that she let an apartment the same as ours in the building for 210kdhs :eek:

Found looking for apartments hard as they were all snapped up quickly...

it was nearly impossible to get a villa. I had a major headache getting one. We have a small baby so an apartment was not for us...

The only downside of Al Raha just now is the lack of Gym/pool but as i am addicted to slipping into my hideous cycling gear, it doesnt really bother me, but my wife does miss her pool/gym...hence every weekend we are at the lakes....

Have been told there is a bar there too so perfect for you!!
Its a bit nearer too....There is a waiting list tho ....might be a long wait for riff raff.....:unsure:

There are pleanty of hotels you can go to for the day too ...since you are so flash with cash shouldnt be a problem for you :D

I went there on 21st March ......drunk soooooooooo much! we were in the expensive bit paid extra to upgrade our champus....
went to 320 but they wouldnt let us in :blink: so ended up in baristi ...

you can have my DCC membership card, it will get you into the British Club, I have no need for it anymore.
