why would you want to strangle a smurf?- they are teeny so would actually be quite tricky- probably easier to stamp on them! Now tellytubbies could do with strangling in my opinion!

Ok I know I am a bit sad but have been doing some research, I was surprised that this isn't the first time in history this question has been asked...comes up with ask Jeeves straight away! ...
I'm not sure if this guy is qualified to give an answer mind.
All a bit weird- why would you particularly want to strangle or choke a smurf??
Also found this unicef picture in which they are all clearly still blue! and Unicef only tell the truth! Although they are bombed and not strangled but i don't imagine this would change teh colour of a dead smurf...

I have to disagree with the majority of answerers. I think that a Smurfs would turn Red if the are choked because Red is the opposite color of Blue. So If a Smurf turned Red then that would signal that It's death is imminent.
