Narrowly avoided multiple fractures when slipping on the icy road walking to the car. Reached aforementioned car and narrowly avoided frostbite scraping snow from vehicle. Narrowly avoided ploughing into hedge when ABS kicked in braking at the cross-roads by Whiteways Farm. Spending day anxiously checking weather reports as snow accumulates and possibility of being stranded at work grows increasingly likely... in a foul mood as it is too cold to go out for a smoke....

8am this morning in Surrey, needless to say, there were only two of us in the office and we lasted about one hour before leaving. Can't believe I flew 8 hours from AD to sit in a hotel room!

my hubs has been sitting on a plane at lhr for the good part of the day.... waiting for the wrong type of snow to be de-iced etc...... what a day to pick worse snow in 18 years!

Jings, all this hype. Coming from the north east of scotland, this snow (albeit inland from the coast) to glamis or Kirriemuir, this snow is pretty common..

during my 3 year stint back in England I was always looking forward to snow as I still had snow tyres on my car. was looking forward to driving around in comfort whilst everybody else struggled. Never bloody happened though
