TiltShift Generator. Its advertised as being able to make “fake miniature” photos, which no doubt it does well, but I’ve found it extremely useful for replicating the use of a very wide aperture, ie allowing a foreground object (eg someone’s face) to be sharply in focus, and blurring the background. Its simple to use, and when combined with a modified pic (say, from Photoshop—see below), you can get stunning results.
Photoshop (Adobe Photoshop Express). I acquiesced far too quickly before. PS may not give you much advantage when actually taking a shot, but for editing (on your iPhone) I think its brilliant. The in-built adjustments allow a huge amount of creativity. So many shots look “flat” without adjustment, but with a bit of fiddling (which is quick and easy to do) on PS you can work wonders. Its free, but I’d happily have paid for it.

And AutoStitch for making panoramic photos. Unlike a couple of others which I downloaded, AutoStitch can stitch existing photos rather than only ones you take in-app and process immediately. Results are, quite literally, astounding. One of the neatest apps I have.
