I 'Officially' Get Married on Saturday....
 

Well, my other half and I had an islamic ceremony back last summer, very informal about ten people there in total and one of our friends conducted the ceremoney, so technically, in the eyes of Islam, we're married, but have no proof.

We were going to get married this summer at the Register Office, but with this KSA job coming up, we've brought it forward ! So, Saturday 15th March is the big day! We have a houseful of people staying over on Fri night (about 15 at the last count ! ), and then we're having a small 'reception' at our house, around 50 guests or so after the ceremony. Its a biggish house (five bedroomed extended semi ) so will cope easily.

THen we're planning on going away for a few days, probably to Rome for a brief honeymoon. I'll then be back at home for about two weeks before coming out to KSA.

Its all going at about 100mph at the moment. Got my leaving do tomorrow, last day at work on Friday ( I've worked here 16 years ! ) m get married on Saturday, go away on honeymoon, get back for 2 weeks at home for last min prep then fly out.:blink:

I just hope I don't get stressed out and manage to keep it all together!:unsure:

Congratulations and good luck...but do try and get all the necessary documentation sorted as well as the ceremonial formalities.

Yes The Dean, got a place on Salwa Garden Village, I think its somewhere near the airport, fairly new, been open about a year, part of the BAE Systems thing.

So, I might not be posting on here for a few days.Obviously from being tired and literally shagged out from my honeymoon.:eek:
