The Hurt Locker

Utterly stunning, with a breathtaking central performance by Jeremy Renner (who was not known to me before).

Baftas and Oscars to follow, I'm sure.

Highly recommended.

What was the Ralph Fiennes bit all about? Were they special forces or bounty hunters? Didn't understand that bit but otherwise good stuff.

speaking of Ralph (my uncle is called Ralph, and it's literally pronounced 'Ralph', not bloody 'Raaef'),

anyone seen him in the fim 'In Bruges'? - it's pretty great, I'd advise it.

I'm busy downloading it. Hopefully it lives upto the hype.
I watched Paranormal Activity last night and it was crap, thought it was meant to be the scariest movie ever.....

Mercenaries for sure - certainly not British special forces that is for certain although they looked the part (Ralph was quite cool in this film). Bunch of amateurs. Great film - I agree with all.

Hmm, can't see it being the same as any unedited versions. The censors could have a field day.
