To be fair, and this will have my grandad turning in his grave, I'd like to see Newcastle do well this season. As long as they are at least one place below Sunderland, and one place above relegation, I'll be happy.

How about Sheikh Mansour watching his boys hand out their biggest win over Liverpool in 73 years, in which year I believe they may have won the league title. Not counting any chickens yet but with only two of their six expensive summer signings on the pitch, Man City still looked pretty damned good.

they did indeed, I was impressed - they aren;t a bunch of poncey playboys anymore, they look determined and organised, could be an interesting season.
