I call that 'Saturday'.

I don't drink during the week because I'm atrocious on a hangover. Iggle's description is about right. Anything north of 3 pints on an empty stomach (even if you eat after) will result in a headache and lowered performance levels.

Last time a mid-week session was awful, I cam in 2 hours last, sat for an hour, almost puked and then went home. But that was a 3am finish from a wedding etc.

5-6 pints I can function, but it's not pretty or a great smelling day.

On this subject, I tired some blueies for fun the other day. All it did was give me a stuffy nose and a headache. I wish I had read the bit about not taking them with alcohol before I ate them.

Me too. Sleep at 2am drunk... awake by 6am at the latest. Feeling like shit but unable to sleep.

how do you deal with it , ? I have Panadol Night which is a miracle worker but I am kinda afraid of taking it with booze ,

to be honest, badly. I get up drink water and lay there praying to sleep (which doesn't happen).

It's the sole factor in me hardly drinking - the lack of sleep after is just awful.

So true , I usually wake up around 3 or 4 .
utterly parched so I head straight to my fridge and down a bottle of Pocari Sweat which has been my pillar of strength in dealing with devastating hangovers .

I feel for you! Once I hit my bed I can sleep.... and sleep..... and sleep..... until I feel the calling of a dirty hangover cure take away!

some of you above are total lightweights!
I drink once a week either on a thurs evening or I do the 'drunch' in my local which is 3.30pm-6.30 unlimited drinks for AED 175.
I don't drink anything other than g&t's
I can easily knock back around 5 large ones before I start to get mash up and know it will lead to a hangover
I've had hangovers where I can barely get out of bed the next day....not good!

This is the good bit, you get up and do shit and feel rubbish. Then at 2 or 3pm you can have the BEST multi-hour snooze known to man.
