How Many Has It Been For You?

Re: How Many Has It Been For You?
My first Ramadan (only been here 7 months...) and I've found the fasting getting easier day by day - first week was headachy every evening but this week just gone, no probs going the whole day.
(that said I've been snacking today, I can't help myself at weekends, week days far easier with work keeping my busy!)

JVR - well done with the fasting, mate... I'm fasting too, except for I still smoke. The food thing is by default rather than intention - I can't be arsed to make sandwiches to take to work, and as I don't stock food at home I have to wait for the restaurants to open for Iftar.... Headaches, no. Ratty - you bet.

This my first ramadan, and l have been without a cig for 5 days now, its not as hard as i thought it wud be, used 2 smoke 20 a day, then bout 6 since fasting started. I think its the best time 2 quit, ive never been so alert for as long as l can remember, and alarm clocks have stated workin in the mornin. Good luck for anyone else trying!!!

If I count Ramadans in Kuwait as well, this must be 12 or 13....

This is our 14th - been to more iftar, sohour (sp?) meals this year than any other - but must admit all the late night/early morning eating kills me.
