How to make curry if you aren't a good cook (Moto111)
 
Buy a Shan curry mix :thumbup: just made one, dead easy and tastes pretty good. The mixes are only 4 dhs each :)

Choithrams, there are loads to choose from - the little guy there told me about them, he said he uses them :thumbsup:

I swear by Pataks curry pastes. More expensive than the packets but much less salty.

it\s not real food though, curries can take 30 mins to make, dead easy and taste great - ANYTHING from a packet is nowhere near as good.

I sometimes use green thai curry paste bought from a shop, but that's as far as I go.

this isn't like that, it is just all the spices for a biryani in a pack, not cook in shite, you just brown the meat and veg and then add the spices already sorted out for you.

yeah but don't you have to add .... meat? Veg?

And you can buy an excellent bit of naan bread from the Taliban-looking bakers.

That's if you don't mind the guy squatting in front of the oven.
