So, my mate and his missus have pretty much ended their relationship, he drinks too much, she lies constantly. So, how does he get shot of her? She's refusing to move out, doesn't have a job (although is looking), he's even offered to pay a month's rent for her to find somewhere else.

The atmosphere at their place is toxic to say the least, not good for anyone.

My opinion is that she should take the cash, set her up for a month or so and just go (he pays the rent and the apartment is in his name), he's even offered her the cash to go home (she's a flip-flop_, but no, it's a stalemate, he's not the sort of guy to chuck someone out on the street but what can he do?

Any ideas I can pass on?

He's living in sin and he's not giving her the option of a new place, just a sum of cash. She's on a visit visa (paid for by him) 3 months long with 2.5 months remaining.

I'd tell him to grow a pair and kick her out.
Give her one week to find alternate arrangements, then change the locks on the 5th or 6th day.
**** paying a months rent for someone else, if it's not working just accept it for what it is and end it.

Pack her stuff up and deliver her to the airport, give her some money and say bye bye......breath a sigh of relief (even feel guilty for a couple of days if it helps) and don`t be so bloody stupid again!!!

Why does he want to give her a cash option - you only do that after service has been provided.

Obviously the shag fest was over, and she was not exactly hot at the art of conversation, and perhaps a few habits that were cute to begin with now turned him into the ripper!!!

These things happen. Why...well who is anyone to judge why I guess. No relationship is perfect.
I feel your mate is a bit of a softie and in these circumstances the softies really get walked all over. So as mentioned above, either grow a pair and have a huge huge fight and basically escort her all the way to the airport or cancel the DEWA and disappear if he hasnt got the balls. But paying cash for a month's staycation is really a bad idea as that opens the door for her to come with hands wide open begging for more at the end of the month so definitely a bad idea.

Given the general likelihood of instability, jealously and passive aggression towards him combined with outward aggression to another filipina eating at the meal table, I would just move another one in and watch them fight it out.
