how could anyone run 10k and not drink water

It says there are water stations- maybe they are in a tent? still seems a bit daft - if they did it one week later Ramadan would be over.

There will be water and people will drink. I just rode my bike for 4 hours this morning. Do you think I did it without drinking? Sporting events are usually approached with common sense.

Now instead of gabbing on about it, enter the race with me. Lets have a BE 10k challenge.

I've done this race loads of times, they have water stations and are not in tents. Just tables at the side of the route. No issues at all

The Pious Ones can break the fast and then make up for it after the month of Ramadan

Common sense. They also drink water at construction yards etc. Life doesn't stop.

tell that to all the tourists down at Dubai Mall I still drink, if I am thirsty I have water, end off.

Same here. Also in gyms like fitness first, you are allowed to drink water in the open when training.

Have played hockey in England and Singapore with Muslims who did not break fast. pretty dangerous considering Singapore conditions

Back when I was livin in AD, I was under the impression that one is allowed to drink water out in the open but no liquids like soda etc..

you want to be at our compound pool, it well and truly is business as usual today, Arab (not muslim) up there not only drinking and smoking but having a picnic too
