I will stand up for him here. He has some semblance of an argument on the other thread and fair play he has stood his ground against all the left footed socks thrown against him.
You are still a tosser Iggle, but you have scored some points

Re: How is business (2)?
Business wise I am crazy busy at the moment and will be for several months to come. Working on the detailed design of the new Expo 2020 Metro section..... plus all the other ongoing projects I have.
As such, all is OK at the minute.
Kind of agree that a downturn gets rid of the arseholes that give this place a bad name though. So not all bad!

so atleast we will get the Metro out of the exBo dwendy dwendy
regardless of the fact that the expo happens or not
it is going to go past discovery gardens on the JA end isnt it?
i.e. take a left from there, or is that just hype or wishful thinking?

Have they started doing work on the expo site? When does that start? Must be getting close to being late now?

Father sues £28k-a-year boarding school after son passes just one GCSE exam
A father is suing a private school for the £125,000 he paid for his son's education after the teenager left with just one GCSE.
Scott Craddock, 57, has served papers on Abbotsholme School, claiming it did not deliver on its promises with his 17-year-old son David.
The retired truck driver worked in the Middle East to pay for his son to have the best education at the independent boarding and day school in Rocester, Staffordshire.
Mr Craddock paid £28,000 each year for five years for David to go to Abbotsholme, but the teenager left last year with just a single GCSE out of eight - a grade C in science.
The son will probably be joining us in Dubai at some point. As a financial advisor

Yeah, it splits of SZR and goes down past / through disco gardens and then curves round behind the Jebel of Jebel Ali, past / through DIP and into the Expo site.

If there is decent housing on the metro route, it will suck people from Sharjah, the Shj rents will drop even further, then more people will move to Shj.
It's going to be interesting, that's for sure. I'm not planning still being here in 4 years, but, you never know.

As I said, detailed design is underway. The ground investigation will start very soon.

I'll be up there this week to catch up with folk and don't expect to see any progress. As you say, all design work.
